Although Taiwan Island is onlyತ,000 square kilometers, Taiwan’s indigenousl peoples give this small land a rich and colorful ethnic culture. Indigenous peoples follow the wisdom of their ancestors to create a unique life style in today's society. Their knowledge of the mountains, forests and the sea, their melodious and profound ancient rhymes, and their exquisite craftsmanship are among the most unique cultural assets on Taiwan Island.

The establishment of the Indigenous Student Resource Center (ISRC) in our school not only strengthens the service for indigenous students, but also hopes to deepen the indigenous students’ identification with the school and their own culture. The ISRC regularly organizes ethnic language courses, ethnic handicraft courses, career lectures,topic lectures and field activities, etc. We expected that students will be able to maintain the connection which their culture in the school life.
